As a designer I am most exited when developing ideas. I always strive to arrive at the best solution for the problem I am faced with and enjoy pushing projects as far as possible.
a new way to see food
The brief was to create a style of food packaging that challenges current conventions, often food packaging highlights nutritional information however offers no explanation as to how the food functions in your diet. I became interested in the area because everyone is currently surrounded by mixed messages about our diets and what is good for our bodies. With the rise of fad diets, super foods and gym ‘gains’, food has become a complex and even touchy subject for a lot of people. My outcomes aim not only to educate the consumer but to challenge current packaging conventions and encourage a shift towards a healthier relationship with food.
